Overview:
REGISTRANTS COURSE START TIME IS FROM DATE OF THEIR REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT FOR A 3-MONTH DURATION.
This mini-course is designed to help court staff convert data into an effective presentations and reviews methods used to effectively present court data and information. Neal Kauder demonstrates that anyone who can learn a few basic design principles can create effective presentations whether on paper or using electronic formats. The course is presented in five topical modules covering:
- Data Graphics
- Data Tables
- Color and Visual Separation
- Data Display
- Raw Data
Each content module contains a media presentation guiding participants through basic design principles. The course emphasizes that content familiarity is the most important element of creating presentations. It reminds participants that there is neither right nor wrong way to present data many different design methods can be used. No matter which tool is used to present the information the focus should always be on “good information.
Participants requesting a certificate for completing the course will be required to do the following:
1. Complete and submit the course evaluation survey. 2. Request a certificate from the ICM Registrar via email.
