The next Spanish-English examination to be administered by the FCICE is the Phase Two Oral Examination.


Phase Two Oral Examination - Only those candidates who previously passed the Phase One Written Examination are eligible for the Oral Exam.
  • Registration Opens: Monday, May 4, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time
  • Registration Closes: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time Registrations must be received by the deadline.  Postmarks will not be accepted.  Any registrations received after the registration deadline will not be accepted and will be returned to the candidate.
  • Registration Fee: $200.00
  • Test Dates:  Monday through Friday, July 27 through 31, 2009.  After registration has closed, your test day and time will be assigned and you will be notified where, when, and what time to appear for your examination.
  • Refunds:  The registration fee for the oral examination is nonrefundable.

The Phase One Written Examination will be offered in 2010.
  • Registration Opens: TBD

  • Registrations must be received by the deadline.  Postmarks will not be accepted.  Any registrations received after the registration deadline will not be accepted and will be returned to the candidate.
  • Test Date:TBD
  • Refund Policy: A $75 processing fee will be deducted from any refund.  In order to receive a partial refund, the cancellation request must be submitted in writing and received by NCSC twenty-two (22) days before the scheduled exam (for 2010, that means no later than 5:00 pm Eastern Time on TBD, 2010.)  Postmarks are not accepted.  Refunds will not be issued to candidates who fail to appear for the examination.

In 2007, the Phase One Written Examination was administered in the following locations.  There is no guarantee that the Written Examination will be offered in the same locations in the future.
